Just Love Harder

Ethan and Julia met while students at Albright College and fell in love.  I had worked with Julia and shared classes with Ethan and was touched beyond belief when I was booked for their 2020 wedding.  Ethan tragically passed away in April of 2020, a month before their intended wedding.  In honoring Ethan, Julia and his family have adopted the motto "Just Love Harder" because that is how Ethan lived every day.  My little way to remember Ethan and the love he had for all of his friends and family is through a "Just Love Harder" gifted wedding to one couple each year.  Preference given to Albright Alumni and couples who have exemplified loving harder throughout their relationship.

Story coming

2023 - Breanna and Kari

Kari and Bre called when Roe v. Wade was overturned - concerned that same sex marriage could be next on the chopping block.  They wanted to make sure nothing would stand in their way so we immediately set up plans for an elopement and then a formal ceremony.  It was only after sharing that they had been selected for this award that Bre shared she had been Julia's roommate in college - just all the more fitting!

2022 - Brielle and Luke

Brielle and Luke have met every challenge life has thrown at them with love and laughter and a few beers!  Working through wedding plans with moves, job changes, family adjustments and more prepared them for starting their family and enjoying every moment.

2021 - Kelsey and Steffen

COVID couples continue to show what Just Loving Harder means - like Steffen and Kelsey who had to adjust their May 2020 wedding to a quick "marry now" elopement and party later model.  They never let the fear of what could happen stop them from their special days.

2020 - Kiara and Ken

The inaugural Just Love Harder couple, Ken and Kiara were much like Ethan and Julia - Albright alumni, wedding impacted by COVID, deep love and humor.  Ken had worked alongside Julia and I and Kiara had Ethan's mom as a teacher.  It was tough to find the right words to fit a wedding while also mourning the loss of Ethan but all went off without a glitch and the couple got hitched!
